Hi Beth,
I'm so sorry to learn of your injury, and I'm delighted that my books were able to assist your recovery. *hugs*
As to your question. Malcon: Thornscore, Volume 3 will be released in the 4th quarter of this year (2025). Half the book fills in the mystery of Malcon's past, including how he came into Trevelyan's service. The second half starts around Katleen's cotillion and takes Rebecca and his relationship to its HEA.
Last February, I had a sneak peek at Malcon in my newsletter. You can find it here: red-gems-march-06-malcon-and-other-updates
I hope you have a lovely summer. Thank you for reading my stories.

Hi Van,
Elemental Fire was the last book I published. An urban fantasy romance it was inspired by a writing prompt in Kiss & Tell Group Halloween event a few years ago. I was so intrigued by Sin and Radzik that as soon and I published the final volume of the Twelve Systems Chronicles (Thorn Bearer), I started on Elemental Fire.
Cheers,
EG

Merry Christmas! For some reason the image didn't embed, but Santa is always right! I would have thought we were GR friends, too. Easy enough to fix. ;)

The first time someone I didn't know reached out wanting to know when my next book was coming out.

No worries. Thank you for the kind thoughts. Cheers.

HI Fiona, I'm not certain which list you are asking about. If it is my thread in the Mod Recs section, it's just a matter of having read and enjoyed the book.
On PM'ing, it's a choice on the pull-down that comes up when you click on that little downward facing arrow next to the 'follow' button on the author profile. I will PM you in case I haven't fully answered your question.

The good news is, the trolls out themselves and can be avoided. Most of us are pretty forgiving of spelling and punctuation, so don't worry about that in my groups. I can't offer much in the way of navigation advice. Even for those of us without your gifts, Goodreads can be confusing and frustrating.

At least ten, and maybe eleven. I have most of the story arc drafted, but the volume segmentation may change as I fill in the details. ;)
And of course there are the potential ancillary stories for Chrys, Rebecca, and Trevelyan. There may also be a novel (or three) in the true story behind the legend of the Five Warriors and Adelaide.

Sent you a pm. You may be able to delete this, but all I can do is flag it and that will cause more problems than it solves.

The character names come from many sources; family, friends, my erratic muse. Some are deliberate choices based on meaning. Others are simply names, although I try to pull from the full range of cultures.
With Lilian; it was her name from the first. I have no idea where it came from or why it is spelled as it is. The same is true of the Five Warriors and Adelaide—they and their stories emerged from my psyche full-blown.
Chrys honors my first love – I was 13. Although he spelled his name in traditional fashion.
Lucius took some time to settle – I wanted something that evoked the ruthlessness and warrior culture of ancient Rome, but also Rome’s commitment to law and order. According to ‘Behind the Names’ – Roman praenomen, or given name, which was derived from Latin lux "light". Two Etruscan kings of early Rome had this name as well as several prominent later Romans, including Lucius Annaeus Seneca (known simply as Seneca), a statesman, philosopher, orator and tragedian.
Katleen is a variation on the name of my best friend since childhood.
For Trevelyan, I wanted a foil for Lucius – so I went with the British Isles where the Romans struggled to gain and hold territory. Again, Behind the Names -- From a surname which was derived from a Cornish place name meaning "homestead on the hill".
Fletcher was originally Lionel (meaning lion), but I decided it was too close to Lilian and Lucius—creating associations, I didn’t intend.

I am so glad you are enjoying the books.
The Twelve Systems is all about responsible (if frequent) sex. Lilian takes a quarterly contraceptive administered under the skin at the base of her thumb -- commonly known as the tattoo. Unless the intention is to conceive, for a man to have sex for a woman who does not display the tattoo is dishonorable and irresponsible. If you remember, there is a point in The Cartel when Lucius anxiously examines Lilian's hand to be sure the tattoo has not faded.

Have you tried JT Geissinger's 'Wicked Games'? Definitely Romance/thriller category. I liked book 2 better than book 1. From your note, you might to stay away from her Bad Habit series.
JA Huss' Rook & Ronin series is excellent. Some of her others (Three Two One) would not be your cuppa.
On the UF front, There's Rachel Chanticleer's Crescent City Arcana. It's a slow burn romance - the first volume is a novella and the second doesn't go beyond kissing. Although the sexual tension is off the charts.
Scifi Romance, you might check out Veronica Scott - guaranteed HEA.
For historical, try Emily Larkin.

I'm not sure why Goodreads sends out these questions, but this one cracked me up. I go to the Twelve Systems almost daily. What do I there - intrigue, passion, violence, danger. I travel miles into a Crevasse, visit ancient shrines, massive commerce structures, a luxury penthouse, slums, gambling dens, fight clubs, and night clubs. I hang out with a disgraced but gallant warrior and her friends and family, the powerful and fascinating Lucius Mercio, prelates, soldiers, spies, and criminals. There is always something...

The series stays centered on Lucius and Lilian, but the storylines for the other characters continue to expand. It's making the books longer and longer. ;)
At some point, I might write a spin-off or two. Trevelyan's back story is particularly compelling, but for now it is all I can do to finish the main saga.

Other than Lucius & Lilian from The Twelve Systems Chronicles?
There are several. Off the top of my head (I'm sure I'm missing some):
Adam & Mercy from the Mercy Thompson series (Patricia Briggs)
Charles & Anna from the Alpha and Omega series (Patricia Briggs)
Eve and Roarke from the In Death Series (JD Robb)
Phedre and Jocelyn from Kushiel's Dart (Jacqueline Carey)

I'm glad you're enjoying Transgressions. The answer to your question is; some of both. When Lilian first started telling me her story, there were parts where I really had to sit down and think about 'how does that work'? Other aspects, were completely clear. Although I have the complete story arc drafted, each new volume brings new revelations. That's totally fun for me, and I hope for the reader. :D
