Hello can I just say that your book Remake is one of the best books I've read yet and I loved every page. I could absolutely not put it down! I was wondering after The Remake series are done if you are thinking of it becoming a film?
Ilima Todd Thanks so much! The next book in the series will be out next summer and I can't wait for everyone to read it. There are no plans for a film just yet, but I would love to see it on the big screen one day. :)

I see that Resist has been postponed indefinitely, will we ever know what happens next???
Ilima Todd Yes, you will. For sure. Even though the book is finished, my publisher is pushing back the release date to next summer for marketing reasons. It will be timed to come out just after the paperback of Remake. We just all need to be patient a little while longer. Hang in there! :)

Hey Ilima, I'm putting together a proposal for a dystopian panel at Comic-Con in SLC in September. Basically, if you agree to do it and the conference approves our panel we each get in free with a guest. It will be a great opportunity to spread the word about Remake. (Which I can't wait to read btw.) Would you be interested?

Will there be a sequel to Remake or is it a stand alone?
Ilima Todd Book two is scheduled for a fall (2015) release. It will be three books in all. :)

If you were 17 again, what would you pick to look like and to be and why? Did you write the book because you wanted to be something else?
Ilima Todd Great question. I don't think I would have chosen to change anything; I've always been pretty comfortable in my own skin. Though if I could choose right now, it'd probably be to look like I did at 17, lol. I wrote this book for the opposite reason...I don't think we should have to change who we are or what we look like to be happy. Diversity is a beautiful thing and accepting ourselves the way we are, imperfections and all, is what I hope readers will take away from the book.

Your book sounds really interesting! Is it YA? I'm in high school and would like to read it, but I'm just wondering if there's any mature content that wouldn't be appropriate for my age?
