Sarah Painter Hi Robin! Thank you so much for reading and for your kind words. I have been focusing on my Unholy Island trilogy (set in the same 'universe' as the Crow books but with new setting and characters), but I'm planning to write a new Crow Investigations book later this year. Very best wishes, Sarah
Sarah Painter Thank you so much for reading - I am thrilled you have enjoyed the series! I am working on the third book in my spin-off series (Unholy Island) at the moment, but after that I intend to write a new Crow Investigations book.
Sarah Painter Hi Jill, thanks for your question! I am planning to write a new Crow book later this year. Best wishes, Sarah
Sarah Painter Thank you so much for reading - I am thrilled you enjoyed it! I am busy writing the third book and am hoping it will be out in the autumn. Best wishes.
Sarah Painter Yes! It's in production but I don't have a release date, yet.
Sarah Painter Hi Ginny! Thank you so much for reading my series - I'm delighted that you like Lydia! I'm having a lot of fun writing these books and, as long as that stays true, I'll probably keep going... I am just finishing the sixth one at the moment and the story (and world) keeps growing. Sorry not to give a more definite answer, but I'm a very instinctive author and I don't plan my books at all, which makes predicting the length of the series quite tricky! Best wishes, Sarah
Sarah Painter Thanks so much for reading, Isobel! I'm working on book six at the moment and am hoping it will be out this summer. x
Sarah Painter Hello! Thank you for your question and kind words... My covers were designed in-house by the publishers (Carina for the first three and Lake Union for In The Light of What We See). Best wishes, Sarah
Sarah Painter Hi Zee and thanks for your question. I think the best way to learn to write books is by doing it, so write lots (and try to finish your stories if at all possible). The only other requirement is to read lots, but I also recommend reading 'writing craft' books and listening to podcasts with writing advice and author interviews. As for getting published/going professional, the most important attribute is tenacity. If it's what you truly want, don't give up. Hope that helps a little!
Sarah Painter Hi Gigi, Thanks for your question! As far as I'm aware, The Garden of Magic is available in the US now... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013...

I will mention to my publisher that you have had trouble getting hold of it, though. Thanks again! Sarah
