L.R.W. Lee Carol,

Thanks for your question. I’m thrilled you enjoy my Andy Smithson books ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

At the moment, I have no plans to write more of them though as I’ve embarked upon a new world, that of the Sand Maiden (in my version of the mythical world of Morpheus and Hypnos).

Warmly,
Linda
L.R.W. Lee Darlene, what a great question! Thanks for asking.

When I first sketched out the skelton of the series I didn't know all the specific events that would drive the plot forward. And I was still getting to know the characters. Now that we've (my characters and I) have been together for nearly 4 years, we've gotten to know each other.

They've shown me what their likes and dislikes are and what makes them tick. As their creator, I know what general trials they need to yet endure to grow and mature. From knowing them in such an intimate way then, as I read the work of other authors ideas spark. As well, as I'm writing, I Google topics like mythological creatures and do deep dives there. These influences all comingle and merge to create my writing.
L.R.W. Lee Know why you write and be passionate about following your "Why", for you will encounter many times of discouragement when only your "why" will see you through. Always know, if you're not passionate about your "why" no one else will be either.
L.R.W. Lee Firstly, I do not call that situation "writer's block" for in so doing, I find the situation becomes worse. Rather, I recognize it for what it is... The lack of a narrative. It's a narrative I just have not yet invented, no different than the narratives that fill my books. I know, given patience and time to think, I will invent a compelling narrative to fill a situation.
