Hi Carol! Thanks for writing in and giving me a sweet blast from the past with my very first (and beloved) series! To answer your question, technically yes, it can be read alone, but I think it's best enjoyed as part of the series as you get to know the characters, particularly the angels, though it's definitely not required. :) FYI, that series has been totally revamped, re-edited with new bonus material, re-covered, and I re-released them as the Inked series, so Cupid's Last Stand is now simply called Tristan. As for Crank, I have been delayed a little since the death of my mother, but I plan to catch up as quickly as I can and release it this Winter. (January, fingers crossed?) Crank is the continuation and completion of Blake & Delilah's story, which takes place about ten years later. Jesse (Book 2, Torque), Trace (Book 3, Throttle) and Micah (Book 4, Rev) will follow in sequence after that...all adults now. :)
