I don't know if "inspired" would be the correct word for me. It's more like a burn, an unyielding ache firing through my muscles when I'm not writing, so inspiration is never a problem.
My main hurdle is depression. If I go a day without penning even ten words, I get depressed.
My magic pill?
A white blank page and the voices screaming at me from within my head, relentlessly insisting that I release their untold tale out into the universe.

Hi Nicole!
Thank you for your question. :)
I saw him so clearly, heard his voice so loudly, he was actually pretty easy to write. I knew I wanted him to be made up of everything that represents a charming, caring, loving, wiseass, loyal gentleman, and when I told him that, he provided me with everything I'd asked for.
After all this time, he still pops into my head to say hello. ;) xo

Hi Micaela,
Thanks for your question. :) I've tossed around the idea of writing a novella, which would eventually lead into a full length novel surrounding either Olivia and Jude or Trevor and Fallon. Now it's just trying to find the time with my busy writing schedule. Still, I'll never say never. :)

Being able to release a fictional character's tale out into a world that would otherwise not know they existed.

Just. Keep. writing. We excel at everything we do. Whether it's riding a bike or perfecting a recipe, practice is our best friend. :)
Also, a small amount of authors make it "big" out of the gate. Don't let not flying out into the world of recognition hinder you from continuing to purge the stories building up inside of you.
Again, Just. Keep. Writing.

Alongside 10% fiction thrown in to keep you wondering which parts still haunt me, the idea behind Amber to Ashes sprung to life from my past, pieces of it continuing to kill away at my present.
90% of 'ATA' is real-life experiences I've endured. It's bones are made up from both who I used to be and who I currently struggle with being.
The idea was a quick, but equally painful, to come up with. :)
