Mark Cheverton I wrote this book a long long time ago, and have written other books since then, so my memory isn't all that great on why I did this, but I suspect Watcher was afraid of the withers, and the withers were trying to invade the Far Lands. I don't think he had a choice???

When will you make a new Gameknight book?
Mark Cheverton I have a couple Roblox books in the works with Gameknight999 as the star. They will be initially published in England, likely not until sometime next year.
Right now, I don't have any plans on more Minecraft novels; that's kinda on hold.

Mark Cheverton I had planned to do another series after The Wither Invasion, but the publisher said they didn't want any more Minecraft novels, :-(. So, I don't know if that's ever going to happen???

If you could and it was your option would you make for Minecraft books? (I really liked the Watcher series and want to read more.)
Mark Cheverton I might write more Minecraft books in the future. I kinda miss Ganeknight999. However, right now I’m enjoying writing fantasy novels and will probably stick with that for a while. You can see all the books I’ve written recently at www.MarkCheverton.com.

I only recently got into Minecraft (at age 30, haha), and I found several of your books at my library (I'm a librarian, you see). I found them to be very enjoyable! Since I'm so new to playing the game, is there anything you can recommend for someone to do in-game? A certain goal (aside from the Ender Dragon, of course)?
Mark Cheverton Hi Esuerc, Sorry, I just saw this message. What I would recommend is looking into modded Minecraft. My favorite mod in Minecraft is the Twilight Forest. In fact, my 22nd novel is based on Twilight Forest. It has many challenging monsters and tons of videos online to help you survive.

Mark Cheverton Unfortunately, I don't have access to any of the files or my Minecraft novels. So I can't send any to you. The publisher keeps those pretty locked up.
However, I will have a new book, not Minecraft, coming out on September 1st. It's called Facing the Beast Within and you can find it on Amazon. I'd love a review of that.

Can't you technically publish them yourself?
Mark Cheverton I think I cannot self-publish any Gameknight999 books because of the contract I have with the publisher that is currently offering my Minecraft novels to bookstores and to Amazon.

I am curious, do I have permission to use your gameknight999 series in a story I would like to write? I´m asking permission because it wouldn´t be right not to since you wrote it. Thank you for giving kids, teens, and some adults alike so much joy. As a teenager that gets bullied at school for looks, what I´m interested in, and other things, what gameknight999 goes through hit home.
Mark Cheverton The rules say that you can use another author's characters as long as your book is not going to be sold. If you are posting it on Wattpad.com or FanFiction.com or even on my site, then you can use it.

Mark Cheverton HI Aiden, My favorite mod is Twilight Forest. I usually play it on Feed-the-Beast, which is a version of Minecraft that loads the mods for you. If you use this, check out the Direwolf20 modpack for version 1.7.10. I challenge you to find the Hydra in the fireswamp . . . if you dare

Mark Cheverton I've never played slender, but FNAF kinda freaks me out, I don't enjoy it . . . too intense, but I do love watch my son play it and get scared

I know someone already said this, but you should write Star Wars books. THAT'S A FACT! You're one of the best authors ever! Who could deny that? :)
Mark Cheverton That would be fun, but now that Disney owns it, I bet it's more difficult to get permission to write Star Wars stuff.

What's your favorite animal on Minecraft?
Mark Cheverton I think my favorite animal is a pig. I don't know why, I think they are cool to see in Minecraft, of course yummy to eat when you're hungry. I even gave Gameknight999 a pet pig, Wilbur, in one of the books
