Christina Lauren Thank you so much!! First we would say read read read. Read everything you can get your hands on, both in the genre you want to write and outside of it. Second, write. Writing is like anything else and the more you do it the better you'll be.
Christina Lauren We wrote Not Joe as a fun little extra for readers, but as of right now don't have any plans for more.
Christina Lauren Beloved was originally ebook only to keep the price super low (it was .99), but we've discussed doing a small printing. We'll keep you updated when we learn more!
Christina Lauren Thank you and we love you, too!! We have Beautiful in October, an as-yet-unnounced standalone in early 2017, another standalone in 2017 and the YA Autoboyography in the fall. This could change (something could be added), but we'll keep you posted!
Christina Lauren Yes! You can see the places we're visiting here: http://christinalaurenbooks.com/events/, so keep checking because it's updated all the time. In 2016 we'll be traveling to Scotland, France and Australia, with more to come in 2017.
Christina Lauren Thank you!! We looooove writing the Wild Seasons, but as of right now there are no further books planned. That being said (and we know we say this a lot!), never say never!
Christina Lauren This is really sweet, thank you! No Razor Fish yet but never say never.
Christina Lauren Beautiful is out October 4, 2016 and is about Hanna's oldest brother Jensen (he's the one who insisted she call Will in Beautiful Player), and Pippa from Beautiful Secret.
Christina Lauren Our next YA book, Autoboyography, is out next year. You can read about it here! http://christinalaurenbooks.com/books... and https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Christina Lauren We'll answer this question with another just like it. We were asked: Who would you rather be stuck in a fallout shelter with; Bennett, Max, or Will? Why?
Lo: Bennett is a good choice, because he’d stay in there long enough to relieve some tension (ifyouknowwhatImean) and then bust out of there and demand that someone fix the problem so he can go back to work. Of course Max would be good, too, because if there is anyone you want to be with when things get stressful, it's the relaxed, happy sugar of Max Stella. (And his three fingers.) But I’m going to go with Will, because he’s a scientist and could probably build contraptions to determine whether the air is safe outside. Also, he’s got stamina and we might be in there for a while.

Christina: If it's like the zombie apocalypse and there's a chance for survival give me Will. If I just have a few hours to kill I’m gonna wax the floor with Max like whoa. But if we’re all dying, then give me Bennett, because I’m going out with a bang.

So I guess our answer depends on how long we'd be stuck!
Christina Lauren The film rights have reverted back to us but here's what we tell people who want to see any book adaptation: they--you--have the power to get movies made. The best way to do this is to talk about the books and how much you want to see them on the big or small screen. Talk/FB/instagram/pin/tweet/blog about casting and scenes you want to see, talk about your love for the stories and create buzz, then--and this is important-- SEE OTHER MOVIES IN THE SAME GENRE. Send a message to studios/directors/filmmakers that we want these types of films and shows and that we'll support them.

Christina Lauren Hi Carla! When we write we outline in chapters and write (usually) in chronological order. Meaning one of us will write chapter 1 while the other writes chapter 2 and so on and so on. And while some of this might change along the way, we always have names/backstory/character arc before we actually start writing.
Christina Lauren Hi, Ara! Beautiful Boss is a Will and Hanna novella.
Christina Lauren Hi, Jahlen! Librarians are majestic creatures that should be given chocolate and tiaras and front row parking. So basically... we love them! A library can be a book lovers best friend and also a savior to someone who doesn't frequent libraries often and might need a guiding hand. As to persuading others to read? This is our mission. We covertly leave books at friends houses and gift them e-books we love/know they must read, and have possibly been known to trick people into bets they have zero chance of winning in order to force them into reading a book we can't shut up about. ALLEGEDLY.
But in all seriousness, there are tons of ways to encourage kids to read and enjoy books, but we'll keep our answer to what we ~think~ your question is about--dealing with people who say "oh, I don't read books."
*clutches chest* *falls on the ground*
In our experience the best way to get people to read is to talk about reading! Tweet/fb/instagram/blog/skywrite/discuss the stories you love and what they mean to you, the enthusiasm can be catching. Nobody can sell a book faster than someone who loves it.
