T.R. Brown It's an outlet for my daydreaming that makes a buck or two.
T.R. Brown I get ideas from many sources. Sometimes I'll watch a show or read another authors work and borrow ideas that I'll use in other projects. Not plagiarism of course, Any project has ideas from dozens of sources along with my own idea of how they can mix.
T.R. Brown Primarily the third book in the Reflections series. However I sometimes work on other projects or a prequil
T.R. Brown Do something else for a while and wait for the imaginary voices of the characters to start talking to me again.
T.R. Brown Just a short term offering hoping to get interest from people who got new electronics to read on for the holidays. Chained reflections was discounted for a few days too. Unfortunately I've found advertising free promotions and discounts doesn't really increase readership much. Especially, when I have no money to pay for advertising. Nor do these deals seem to translate into more reviews that might get Amazon to promote my books (they don't promote anything with less than 50 reviews).
I do the promotion in hopes that some of the people who do find my work for free or discounted will like it enough to tell their friends. It also tends to create a short term boost in sales after the promotion ends due to the books coming up nearer the top of the search results in their categories. Unfortunately that boost in sales couldn't pay to advertise the promotion they come from. It might get me a trip to McDonalds if I'm lucky.

I'm glad you liked the first two books. I'd be even happier if you put a review on Amazon. I can't afford any book promotion and Amazon won't do anything on their own for books with less than fifty reviews.
T.R. Brown From a very bizarre dream.
T.R. Brown Don't expect to be commercially successful. Write what you want for your own enjoyment. If other people like it and buy it great, if not, at least you had fun doing it.
