I’m diving back into Elric of Melniboné by Michael Moorcock, because his doomed sorcerers never lose their edge. I’ve also lined up A Song for Quiet by Cassandra Khaw, which blends cosmic horror with haunting lyricism, and The Fisherman by John Langan, a modern classic of folk and cosmic dread. To balance the horror, I plan to revisit The Tower of the Elephant by Robert E. Howard — sometimes sword and sorcery is exactly what I need.

I’d travel to Michael Moorcock’s Multiverse. The idea of endless worlds, each shaped by the struggle between Law and Chaos, has always fascinated me. I’d probably seek out one of the Eternal Champions, not to fight beside them, but to see how they endure the burden of being both savior and pawn of cosmic forces.
