June, do you happen to know what kind of time frame you have for the rest of the Paranoral World series? Every time I read a Paranormal romance, I compare it to your series. I think it's phenomenal.
June Stevens Westerfield Sara, I'm sorry, Goodreads never notified me of this question. Thank you so much for your kind words. The series was in a bit of a limbo because it wasn't selling well and through mutual agreement, the publisher and I parted ways when the contracts ran out. (This is something that is common and no one's fault). But it did put things on hold while I waited. And I'm currently back in college pursuing a computer science degree, and so things are going slower than I'd like. i wish I could give you a definitive answer, but writing has had to take a backseat to feeding my family. How do you get inspired to write?
June Stevens Westerfield As a full time writer I "shouldn't" wait on inspiration. Writing is an every day thing, inspired or not. But, it doesn't always work that way. "Writer's Block", or at least "Writer's Temporary Road Construction" happens.

If I'm having a particularly hard time with a story I'll re-read a few of the most recent chapters and listen to some music that puts me in the mood for that particular story. For "Just As You Are" I like to listen to "Remix" by New Kids on the Block. For "Immortal Moon" "Radioactive" and "Demons" by Imagine Dragons never fail put in the right mood.

If I'm still having trouble, I take a break and watch a tv show or movie in the genre of whatever I'm working on. Or just a action and explosion packed blockbuster to clear my head and get me back on track.
