The book began as a video game idea with some friends. When the excitement for that died down, I continued the game alone and finished part one. It was roughly a ten hour RPG. The majority of the world and characters have changed, as well as the overall story, but the spirit of the world was born from that game. That world was very black and white; I wanted the story to trudge through the murky grey areas in our lives.

I'm currently working on the marketing for The Immortal Words. Book Two of The Age of Gods and the novella, The Shadow of Stars, are both past the developmental stages and have entered the writing stage.

I'll move on to another phase of the writing process—art concepts, subplots, histories—until the inspiration to continue the story returns. Sometimes, a long walk while listening to another author's audiobook can help stoke those embers, too. Anything to get out of my head and escape the feeling that I MUST put words onto the page right now.
