No concrete info yet. Expect some real news after the release of A Woman of Whispers!
I don't want to spill any beans too soon.

The Girls from Alcyone 2026? It could happen.
Basically, I'm back, after a long hiatus. Just finished work on a new romantasy A Woman of Whispers, due out this fall (2025). But with that book done, my attention seems to be dragging back to TGFA.

Yes! I'm actually in the midst of doing a rewrite of Book One. This will be for a special 'Anniversary Edition: Remastered. Reimagined. Rewritten.' With luck, this may see the light of day this year, but probably early 2026 (January).
I aim to make this a faithful rewrite, keeping the story the same. Just...with better writing. The original version will remain available.
I will also be finally releasing paperback and hardcover versions of all the books.
Plus...there will be a trilogy edition, featuring the Anniversary Edition of Book One.

Hi, PC! Thanks for your question.
Yes, and I feel extremely bad about my accounts going 'dark'.
Honestly, Twitter and FB have become so thoroughly toxic for me that I have pretty much steered clear of all things inter-webs (for my sanity). Combined with the fact that these next books in the series (yes books!) have proven such a challenge I felt it best to 'duck and cover' until I had something really, really substantial to announce.
I can tell you this: I have never stopped working on The Girls from Alcyone. I'm working on, not just a continuation, but what I hope will be a brand new trilogy for Sigrid, Suko and Hitomi. I've always had a lot of questions about Hitomi and her past. Why did she start the project that brought Sigrid to Alcyone in the first place, and why Sigrid is so important to her? They've never really spoken about that. I think it's time.

That's great to hear. It always bugged me that we're told Sigrid is special in Bellatrix, but there was never an explanation. Can't wait!

Paperbacks have been a hard sell online (eBooks and Audiobooks have been terrific). But...it looks like the prices are dropping, so if can keep the prices under $10 US I think it will be worthwhile. I will look into it this week!
Thanks for making me think about this again!

Yes! While it's taken me far (far!) longer than I imagined, with a few re-starts, there will absolutely be more books coming.

Awesome it's killing me waiting for these. I love this book series. Thank you for the Answer. And keep up the great work on these amazing books.

No worries. Merchantman actually became chapter two of The Machines of Bellatrix. I took it (Merchantman) down from Amazon because I didn't want people buying it thinking they were getting something new.

This answer contains spoilers…
(view spoiler)[Yes. A lot of that is already written. If I can get my act together, I'd like to release that as a standalone short story or novelette around the same time that book IV comes out. The only thing that's stopping me is wondering if it might be better to just leave that alone, and up to your imagination (so much of what happened in that time is only hinted at, and I worry that if I publish my version, it might not be as exciting what you come up with!).
If I do release it, it won't have anything to do with Procyon (where Suko gets spoiler-deleted), but will instead feature Suko and Victoria's search for Sigrid, and some of the characters they came across (friend and foe). (hide spoiler)]

As far as I'm concerned, you should release it. To be honest, I'm finding Suko doesn't get enough screentime in the books, while she is the most impor

Thanks, Jerry! That's great to hear! While I never give release dates, I can tell you that things are ramping up. Chapters are stacking up. Plot is (finally) coming together (for books IV, V & VI). Work on book cover art has commenced.

Easy! That moment when someone you've never met contacts you to tell you how much they enjoyed reading your book and what it meant to them. Those are the best, most uplifting and encouraging moments ever.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that you don't have the time to write.
The idea that published novelists get to sit at home and work all day on their stories is a myth. Most writers have to wear many hats to make a living. You're a novelist, an editor, a teacher, a ghostwriter, a journalist, a copywriter - and these days, you're a publisher, a publicist and even an agent.
Writers have many duties that pull us away from actually writing. So, yeah, definitely don't make the mistake of thinking you don't have the time.
None of us do.
Write in the morning when you're fresh! Don't wait until the end of the day when you're tired, drained and just want to sit back and binge-watch something on Netflix.
Try starting with 500 words a day while you're having your coffee or breakfast. In time, you'll want to work that up to 1500. Writing is like any form of exercise. It's tough at first. It's draining. But it gets easier and faster.
And finish what you start!

I'm definitely working on a new adventure for Sigrid (calling it Rangers of Alcyone for now). I have a lot of fun writing her, so I won't be abandoning her any time soon.
But now that the the original trilogy story-arc is complete, I'm finally free to work on a couple of things I've had brewing for a while. One project is something I've been really looking forward to. It's a scifi/horror/romance chiller set during the cold war (1948 or 1954, though I'm not sure which right now).
It has the working title of WASP (women airforce service pilots should give you some clue as to what this is about).
I don't want to say too much, because it's so early, and it will undoubtably go through many, many changes. For now, think of it as Mad Men meets The Thing.

Watching other talented artists work (in any medium) makes me want to work on my own stories.
I devour huge amounts of books, movies, shows, games and graphic novels and comics. I have always been fascinated with the art and science of story-telling, whether it's the way a movie director/cinematographer chooses to shoot or light a scene to showcase a character, or the way a novelist crafts a single sentence to increase or ease tension.
I'd love nothing more than to make a movie or a graphic novel, but since I don't have the resources for film (and I can't draw), novels are the perfect outlet for me.
