Hi Tony! I've read all of your travel memoirs - I just finished reading "Alligators Eat Marshmallows" and loved it! Do you have any more travel books in the works or have you completely shifted your focus to writing fiction novels now? Cheers! And say hi to Roo for me!
Tony James Slater Hi Roger! Lovely to hear from you! I'm still working on travel memoirs, but taking time out in between them to do the sci-fi. I've got one more sci-fi book to write and release this year before I start working on the next memoir next year, which should take us up to Roo discovering that she's pregnant with our daughter Freya ;)

What inspired you to write Spark of Resistance? (Can't wait to check it out)
Tony James Slater Hi Keshia! My first attempt at writing sci fi featured a character called Kyra, a sword-wielding mercenary woman who constantly lied about her past. She was my favourite to write, so when I decided to start a new series it made sense to clear up some of that confusion and tell the real story behind Kyra. I had to create the story in my head years ago, to be able to keep her character consistent, and it was just begging to become a series of its own! It's completely separate from the Earth Warden series, as it takes place a long time before those books, developing her from a young girl into a sarcastic, ass-kicking freedom fighter ;)

Hey Tony! Any news about the third part of "Ancient Guardians"? I *love* your travel books but you do have a knack for sci-fi as well.
Tony James Slater Hiya mate! Yes, book three, 'Warden's Fury', should be coming out the first week in July! It's taken me way longer than I expected to write it because I've been travelling, but I'm all done now! If you find me on Facebook and send me a friend request, as soon as the book's ready I'll be posting about it like crazy ;)

Tony James Slater Hi there!
After 'Shave My Spider!' was released in May last year, I took a bit of time off to travel around the US, staying with a load of my readers. I got 'home' to Perth in early 2017, and have been working flat out on a new book ever since! It should be released within the next month, and it's a prequel, following my disastrous attempt to become a world-famous actor... SPOILER ALERT - I never succeeded ;)
It will be called, 'Don't You Know Who I Am?'
