Just do it! As mentioned earlier, I derive so much joy from writing these stories. As if that wasn't enough, actually collaborating with a wonderful illustrator who works with me to understand the style and humor I am looking to make visual, seeing my characters come to life is immeasurably satisfying, and enjoyable.

Lily's English Adventure will be released at the end of May, and I have almost completed her USA Adventure as well.... after that I think Reggie is planning to take Lily and the crew to France!

Thinking about how much fun I can have myself writing the travel adventures from an innocent and inquisitive perspective - without the limitations of time etc means I can have Lily and her traveling friends encounter all sorts of people and things form history or from modern times. I can't begin to describe how much fun I have writing these!

Lily has taken on an explorative adventure life of her own!!! We have a huge pine tree in our garden, with both ringtail and brush-tail possums living in it. They are very friendly and I named one of them Reggie a few years ago... watching Reggie come down out of the tree began the Midnight Magic Book Series I have created.
I am a world traveler myself, and absolutely love exploring other places, people, and cultures, and their associated histories.. so Lily is an extension of myself really - and provides me with the opportunity in a fun way, to bring some fo these wonderful things to a young audience. The opportunity is there for readers to go more into depth with their little ones if their imaginations or curiosity are piqued. I have always enjoyed rhyme and this seemed a fun way to tell the little adventure stories!
