Carol Voss Hi Sam,
Thanks for asking about the first three books in the Noah's Crossing series.
Go to https://www.carolvoss.com Click on Carol's books along the left side to see the books. You can see the back cover copy, read an excerpt, or buy a book by clicking on amazon. The sequence is Instant Daddy, Love of a Lifetime, Daddy Next Door, then A Baby for Sarah. Happy reading.
Carol Voss Interesting question, John. No, I have never thought about writing an autobiography. I wouldn't want to write details of my own life, let alone details about people I've been close to. Writing fiction suits me well. :-)
Carol Voss If you write romance, join Romance Writers of America, if you haven't already. There's so much to learn always, but especially starting out, and RWA members are among the smartest, most sharing, encouraging, and fun women in the world. It's great knowing you're not alone in your amazing endeavor to write and publish a book. It's even better to be taken seriously.
Carol Voss Writing. I plan and think about the story, the characters' motivations and traits. Then the part I love is the actual writing process of wading in and finding the surprises in the story as they happen. So exciting and fun...every time.
Carol Voss Writer's block meaning a block to figuring out story line or what needs to happen in a scene? I take a walk, a quick nap, or a shower to allow my sub-conscious to work on the problem. If nothing brilliant suddenly appears, I start typing what I know about the story which morphs into what I don't know about the story. Somewhere in that process, an answer usually appears. If not, I let it perk in my mind while I move ahead with the things I do know.
Carol Voss Actually, Sarah and Will have appeared in previous Noah's Crossing books and have been hanging around for their turn to shine. The question in my mind was are these two bright, talented people still living in this tiny town in northern Wisconsin or have they moved on? Why or why not?
