Andrea Buginsky If I find that I simply can't write when I sit down to do so, I find something else to do instead. Later, when ideas start to come to me, I sit back at my desk or grab a notebook and start working.
Andrea Buginsky I get to live in a fantasy world for most of the day when I'm writing, and even at other times when I'm simply thinking about my story. I love creating the stories and characters. They feel very real to me.
Andrea Buginsky Never give up! Keep working, writing, submitting. If it's what you love and what you want to do, then do it. Reach for the stars, and make your dreams come true.
Andrea Buginsky I'm currently editing book 2 in my New Avalon series. This series brings the Lady of the Lake from the Arthurian legend to life. We learn that descendants of the Lady of the Lake exist, and receive powers when they come of age. In book 1, Destiny, Elena learns of her heritage and receives her powers. She attends New Avalon, the school on the mystical island of Avalon, to learn about her powers. She makes some wonderful friends while attending New Avalon.

Now, in book 2, I'm delving more into Elena's best friend, Izzy. Izzy has a traumatic occurrence in her past that she's never really dealt with. When a visitor arrives at New Avalon, Izzy is given the chance to confront her past and finally deal with it. Elena is key in helping Izzy, and discovers a new power in the process.
Andrea Buginsky By reading other stories, watching movies, and watching TV. There are times when I get involved with a story, and start making up how I want it to go. With my own stories, I can do just that.

I am also inspired to write when I watch movies about writers. Seeing another writer in action makes me want to jump on my computer and start creating.
Andrea Buginsky My latest publication is Nature's Unbalance: The Chosen, Book Two. I wanted to continue The Chosen's adventures, and explore more of Phantasma. I wanted to be able to feature more of the characters as well, so I decided to write about something to do with nature. This way, I could focus on my shaman, Redsham, and druid, Lumina, a bit more. I decided to make Nature an actual character, set her up in a situation that would cause chaos to erupt on Phantasma, and have The Chosen go on a quest to rescue her, and their world.
