Eventually, yes! I stopped writing fiction for a living in 2017, and unfortunately, I haven't had time to pursue it as a hobby since then. However, my schedule should open up in 2-3 years and allow me to start writing again.

Hi Edward. Sorry, I didn't see this message until recently. I did produce the first three audio books for The Awakened (https://www.audible.com/pd/Awaken-His...), but wasn't able to continue with the remaining books due to time constraints and other technical hurdles. Eventually, after I finish writing the series, I'll produce audio books for all of them. But that's a long-term goal. Thanks!

Hi Missy. I'm almost finished with The Awakened Book 7. Completing the series (through Book 9) is my top goal. After that, who knows?

Beren and Lúthien, from Tokien's Silmarillion. They fell madly in love with each other from the start and remained devoted and inseparable for the rest of their lives. Their relationship is one of the few that comes to mind when thinking about literary couples. I think it resonates with me because it mirrors my own relationship with my wife, Carly. We've always been best friends and fiercely loyal to each other. In my own writing, I try to portray that same uncomplicated love in the relationship between Maeryn and Adair. I think it's refreshing, in our modern culture of radical individualism, to read about two people who try to build up and support each other rather than manipulating or controlling.

My next project is Wandering Stars Volume 3. I would like to finish off the series (4 books total) before returning to The Awakened for the final trilogy. After that, I'll consider doing reader's companions for each of those novels.

Yes. The Awakened series will have 9 books when it is complete. Because the storyline and characters (mostly villains) are intertwined with the prequel series (Wandering Stars), I'm working to tie up those loose ends before writing the final trilogy of The Awakened.

Being able to exercise my talents, as opposed to learned skills, to make a living. Doing something I'm passionate about, instead of just keeping busy. I'm also a self-motivated individual, so I really enjoy being my own boss.

In a variety of ways. Sometimes I give myself permission to take a break from writing in order to work on a marketing or business task. Then I come back to writing with a fresh perspective. Other times I'll take a walk to get the blood flowing. I've found that writer's block, as long as it isn't caused by poor scene preparation, is really a state of mind. So anything I can do to "switch gears" mentally is a step in the right direction.
