Don't. Give. Up. I finished my first novel, Spark, in 2010. After querying 100 agents, 24 presses and pitching at a few writer's conferences I was finally offered a contract--last week! This 5 year journey has been tough. But I'm glad I didn't give up. There really was a light at the end of the tunnel. Keep writing. You will only get better and have even more to offer.

I have a few sci-fi/horror stories in the works, but my focus lately has been on a story titled Crazy Red. It is the story of a demon who works in hell monitoring a pitch pit where corrupt politicians are tortured. Through her blog she tells a story of the impossible: a soul who escapes from hell. As a result, the mechanisms of eternity come to a grinding halt as all watch the encounter between God and this mysterious mortal.
