The Bull Moose series came to me during the 2004 presidential election and it was revived in me during the 2016-2020 years when I saw much of the story coming true. That horrified me and inspired me to get back to the keyboard and finish the story. Perhaps I could help foresee what was coming in the twenty years to come and help us avoid some of the worst possible scenarios through a powerful story.

You need to find your voice, first and foremost. Second, improve your craft so there is no question that readers find reading your work enjoyable. Speaking of readers, the last most important first step for an aspiring writer is to very clearly define who you're writing for. If you can nail that down, then you can begin to focus on writing the type of story they want to buy and read. There is so much opportunity out there for people who love to tell great stories. It is hard work - go into it eyes wide open about that and when you get discouraged, lean on your fellow writers.

I am currently putting the finishing touches on my first full-length novel: What It Takes to Kill a Bull Moose. It is a political suspense/thriller and the first in the Bull Moose Series. This has been my on-again, off-again project for the last 20 years, and I finally committed to publishing it. I am working hard for an early Spring 2024 release!
