My most recent published book was "A FAMILY AT WAR" I was always fascinated with WW2. My mother would always tell me story's of her life as a evacuee in wartime England. And her two elder brothers Robert enlisting into the Royal Air Force and William joining the Royal Navy, their experiences of love and tragedy happening around them. William being torpedoed three times and finding himself in Canada as a distressed British serviceman, I suddenly realized, there is a whole book here.

Something I haven’t done before; Fantasy. And I am enjoying it immensely. It starts 30,000 years ago. A small tribe of humans live on the edge of the plain. Close by live a pack of wolves. realizing they both hunt the same animals for food, they are soon hunting the animals together, this creates more successful hunts benefitting both species. Gaining each other’s trust, the humans allow the wolves to live on their settlement. Lifetime bonds are then forged between the pups and children. It is a fictional fantasy story. The reader is soon swept into the lives of both humans and wolves who all have their own identity, with names like Kimba and Kyra, the alpha wolf and his partner and their son Argon, and Tundu the leader of the humans.

For me it would have to be, i control the storyline and plot, which makes it all so original.

I have always been an adept writer. I had the makings of a story in my head way back in the early nineties, over the years it grew longer. Suddenly after twenty five years, i thought to myself "I have something here" I immediately began putting it down what i had in my head, on paper and immediately more and more story came into my head, as it did so I put it down on paper. it was as if it was waiting inside my brain for me to get it all down on paper, and it flowed and even gushed out. I couldn't stop writing, as so much was inside me waiting to come out.

If you have a storyline in your head, get it down on paper. That’s what I did, once I began putting it down on word, I was surprised how more and more story came into my head, so I continued writing, rather than leave it for later and forget about it. Seriously, now I can see why writers have so many books, because they love to write.

I walk away from the current story I'm writing. forget about it, and use this opportunity to spend time with my wife and catch up with my daily routine. completely forget about the book. I find the longer I am away and not thinking about it, the more the story creeps back into my head, about how it should continue. I can then return to the manuscript and continue with my story.
