I was speaking at a conference with business owners, sales leaders, and marketing professionals. Some were investing in things like inbound marketing or online advertising. Others were focused on sales, training their reps to prospect. What they had in common was that most of them were frustrated with their results.
As I was preparing my session, the lightbulb moment happened. Most of these companies were like a car with an engine not firing on all cylinders. It wasn't that these companies were doing the wrong things. They simply were missing important pieces of their sales and marketing strategy.
That's where the Revenue Growth Engine was born. Out of this came a model to align sales and marketing to drive exponential revenue growth.
