Samson Soledad Don't know! I'm blessed with A.D.D and have ideas bouncing about the walls of my brain all day long. The hard thing is to decide which insanity to convert into a string of lucid thoughts.
Samson Soledad You don't have to bite your tongue when your boss says or does something stupid. You can humiliate yourself all day long and still maintain political correctness.
Samson Soledad Don't become a writer if you're hoping to earn a living at it. Write because you feel compelled to write. If you write to sell books, you'll likely be disappointed and question your ability as an author. Once you build a collection of completed works, you'll figure out on your own if you really have a gift. Then, and only then, should you think about it as a vocation. Samson Soledad I don't think one 'gets' inspired to write. You either are or you aren't. You cannot force inspiration. It just happens! I suspect it happens quite more often in curious minds than in the alternative.

I was not intending to write a book about this little known truth about our history. I was actually just looking to find my genealogical 'roots.' Once I started my research however, I felt compelled to write about an episode that has been effectively erased from the historical record. The final straw was when a librarian at the Library of Congress, with a curious look on her face asked, "What Hellenic holocaust?"
