Great question Kayla! My brother and I came up with the front cover concept together. Explaining this concept, my art designer came up with this design. After a few tweaks, (3x), I liked this design the most. As far as if it is Havasupai, I can see the resemblance, and it could be, just note this waterfall design was not intended to be Havasupai just a waterfall in general. I wanted an orange-rock-like concept to illustrate the beginning stages of earth being created. Great question and I thank you so much for asking it. If you have any further questions, I have a website that breaks down the chapters as well as designs, concepts, and inspirations. www.dpscuderibooks.com

Waking up on an operating table, the extraterrestrials standing over me just finished changing out my eyes. Feeling the eyes changing colors, I could see the truth, "They are not the aliens."

Dante's Inferno. I find his interpretation so intriguing. I always loved ideas that can't be thought of off the top of your head. Inspired by religious beliefs, and dream-like characters and ideas, the world he created is so unique and different from the norm. The multi-layer metaphorical representations of the underworld are ahead of their time.

I remember seeing a quote from somewhere in regards to writer's block. "Writer's block is when the voices in your head stop talking to you." I started writing this book when I was in middle school but in the beginning stages, it was just seen as a hobby and not taken seriously. In between jobs, I started to take my work more seriously and writing seemed to come naturally to me. With my next book, the idea came to me literally days after partnering with a self-publishing company. Along doing extensive research ideas came naturally. Some advice I would give to someone struggling with writer's block is listening to short stories that read you to sleep. I follow multiple channels on Youtube that read stories to you. Channels like; 'Lets read,' the multiple 'Creepypasta' channels, and 'Biographics.' Stories that just really get your mind and imagination moving. If you don't expand or explore your mind, finding topics to write about can be a struggle. But I can assure you that there are people out there all over the world with the same mindset, and the things you find fascinating, I guaranty they find interesting too. Maybe you have an idea but just can't put it into words. Then maybe hearing it in someone else's words can really pant the path to drive the message you're trying to convey or the story you're trying to tell. Just don't give up!!

The respect you get from others that see you have something they thought they would do one day but never do. My family and friends were ecstatic when they finally saw I wrote a book. Having a unique work of your own makes you feel like you left your mark in the world. Being among the very few that are authors makes you feel separate from the rest and not just part of the background.

Don't be afraid to speak your mind. Your mind is unique to you, and no one else can imagine or write the way you do. I respect the 'Doers' over the 'thinkers.' Wanting to publish my work for the longest time I finally made my dream come true. And putting myself through the process, I realized that this journey is not as long or impossible as it might seem. There are numerous self-publishing companies that will make your dream a reality. If you feel and listen to all the back-lash that everyone throughs at you, just know once you prove them wrong, the feeling is indescribable. Having your own work out there for the world to see, feels amazing and once it's all done, you just want to move on to the next one.

I am currently working on my second book that I just finished writing. In the works of having my second release, I am extremely excited to share my envision that is very important to me. In this story, I feel I greatly improved my writing and storytelling, exploring new and unique strategies. I don't want to spoil anything but I had a lot of fun researching and being inspired by the works of; Alester Crowly, H.P Lovecraft, Dante Alighieri and numerous sources of demonology.

I greatly get inspired by the more artsier films in cinema, music spanning multiple genres and my dreams. My favorite films come mostly from A24 and Lionsgate films. Two of my favorite directors are Ari Aster and Robert Eggers. I love all kinds of music, especially the more heavier categories. I Drew great inspiration by bands like Tool and A Perfect Circle among many others. Film and music have become such a huge part of my life that they inspired me to want to create my own work and put my own unique twist on things. But my greatest inspiration was hating the books we read in school. It made me hate reading. So I decided to create my own.

Well, I have been working on this book since I was in middle school and most of the ideas that are in this work come from ideas, concepts, and dreams that have been generating over time. I wanted the story to connect with people not only on a personal level but on a psychological and spiritual level. I needed the story to ask the readers questions, appose to leaving the reader with questions. Having a deeper complex story I was able to put my unique interpretation on it, telling the story in a way that not only represents what is happening but how it all lines up to represent something greater, while still at the same time, being a story of its own.
