Most of my stories stem from dreams or daydreams that I've had. This one was different. I got a question in an English exam - a book review. I ended up writing a book review for an imaginary book. Later, on re-reading the answer script a few years later, I got really interested in the story, but realized that I wouldn't know what happened unless I wrote it. The book is still under way...so I don't know how it ends as of yet!

Write! Too often, one gets lost in visions of what their book should look like. For some, it's a constant flurry of editing, that does not allow them to go further. Keep writing, don't worry about the quality just yet. There's plenty of time to criticize and nitpick after the first draft is done. The important thing is consistency and persistence. Get the first draft done, and then go back and refine it.

The best things is that I get to bring stories into this world that no one has ever seen before. I love getting lost in a daydream. With writing, I can share that daydream with other people.
