I am currently working on book two of the Zalthuras Series, Earth's Zero Hour. Since this book is only ten years out from Silent Invasion, I am making the technology feasible for the near future with a few interesting twists.

I really don't see it as writer's block. I see it as lack of discipline. If you schedule a time and write at that time, no matter what, words make it to the page. You might throw them out the next day, but the next time is easier until you get on a roll. I have gone 18 hours before with only minor breaks once I get on a roll. The first step is to just sit down and write something.

I get to set my own schedule and work at a pace that works for me. I took a break over this summer while the kids were out of school and I am back at it now.

A series of events in the 90's led to Silent Invasion. It all began when I learned about the genocide in Rwanda. I couldn't understand how two tribes that lived in relative harmony for hundreds of years turned into one of the biggest genocides of our time.
One night I was reading an analysis of the situation. That night I couldn't go to sleep, so I watched a series of old horror movies. I went to sleep very late. The next morning, I remembered a dream where aliens were trying to invade the Earth.
Then it stuck me. Why should any alien species waste their lives and resources killing humans when we are so willing to do it ourselves. Silent Invasion was born.
I created a 357 page story for you to explore.
