C.T. Liotta She opened the locked drawer. Her husband had been hiding the bills for two years, now, and they were in arrears.
C.T. Liotta My forthcoming short, "Treason on the Barbary Coast!" was the result of a conversation with my co-worker, Riv Aurora, about Patrick O'Brien novels. He and I started coming up with funny ideas for a tall ship adventure, and had the thing outlined in about three days. Writing it has been a bitch. I don't (or didn't) know a whole lot about the Royal Navy, sailing and tall ships. I'm sure I got a lot of it wrong, but who cares? It's pulp. People aren't reading it to learn about the mizzen-mast. They're they're to see how the characters interact. It should be available for pre-order sometime in July.

C.T. Liotta Don't listen to Twitter. You may never pick up a pen if you do. Your writing will suck if you try to make everybody happy to avoid criticism. You cannot make everybody happy, and you will not. Don't make that your goal.
