Hi Catherine, how would you advice to get a long with a project leader that does not have project leadership skills yet? Looking forward to hearing form you. :) B

Catherine Stothart Ooh, that's a tough one Barbara. I guess the issue is that other people in the team feel that the project leader isn't up to the job as they haven't got the skills? If that's the case, I'd advise the other team members to look at what the project leader does bring to the role - they must have some skills/talents that caused them to be appointed. Maybe the other team members can learn some things from them? And the other team members could maybe offer to help plug the gaps in the project leader's knowledge? eg offer suggestions, or offer to help the project leader on some aspects of the role? I hope the project leader feels able to discuss their lack of knowledge with the team members, and is open to getting help from them, while offering some opportunities in return.
