Creepily a sound approached, slowly crescendoing behind you. Shivers down your spine, you ask yourself, "who's there," quickly turning around and seeing the most freighting thing possible, yourself in the mirror!

That's a really good question. I think I would go to the world of Harry Potter and be a wizard. The school of Hogwarts just seems to be more exciting than regular school lol.

It started by thinking about an epic adventure dealing with angels. Then it evolved and included other inspirations from different mythologies. After a while of research into different mythologies and stories, I was able to craft a concept and then create a whole new universe from what I learned about the different mythologies and belief systems.

I've always enjoyed writing and a good story. The plot of a story is what draws me to it, the characters come second. I've written in contests as a child, and I was inspired to continue writing in college. This brought me to where I am now.

Don't get discouraged and always keep pushing. Creating your own world can be overwhelming at times, especially when the world you create begins to feel real and the story continues as if it's writing itself. The best way to describe it is like going down a roller coaster when you reached the top. That rush is amazing and always embrace it.

The best thing about being an author is having the ability to emerge yourself in another world of your creation. You get to play pretend in another world and be someone else for a while, especially if at the core of everything, you're an author for yourself first and then for others after.

When I get writer's block, I take a step back and take a bird's eye view of what I've written so far. If it's character dialogue, I put myself in their shoes and really get into character. It's actually kinda fun lol. If it's the story that has me in a bind, I take that break and when I come back, I reread what I've written before I stopped and then just write without thinking too much. That way the story writes itself. Then I read over to make sure it all makes sense.
