I would 100% travel to Hogwarts. Since I'm obviously past my schooling years, I would love to teach something at the school or work for the Ministry. Not really sure what career I'd exactly have in that world, but I just know living in it would be absolutely amazing.

While I'm still reading The Huntress, I'm hoping to tackle a few biographies on my list (Johnny Carson, Frank Sinatra, Rita Hayworth) while also finally starting Caraval! Then, of course, this Fall, The Toll (Arc of the Scythe #3) comes out and I'm super pumped for that one!

My idea for "Nimbus" came to me out of the blue one day. I was at work and the idea just popped into my head, so I texted my fiancee and she told me to run with it. I immediately wrote down everything I was thinking, then went home that night and started the first chapter. It was a rush like never before.

Never stop writing. You'll write some crap—some unbelievably bad crap, but that's not a reason to quit. Quell the mess with more words. Just keep writing until you can look back at what you wrote and go, "Hey, that's not crap!"

Inspiration can come from just about anything. I can be listening to music and have to throw my headphones across the room to run and find a pen and write down everything going through my head; or, I could just be aimlessly staring off into space and something will jump into my head that I need to add to my current story.
In other words, inspiration, to me is this fleeting thing I can never truly see, but comes to me when I least expect it.
I think the only real way for me to obtain inspiration knowingly is through film. Whenever I see a new movie, I'm in awe by the ideas it took to create it, and that usually leads to me writing for hours on end.

The sequel to "Nimbus" entitled, "Halcyon." It's going to have even more feels than "Nimbus" and I can't wait to share it with the world.

Being able to write what's on your mind. Just creating a new world that only you can envision is a surreal feeling.

I get up and walk around. I find the best way to move past a writing wall is to stop looking at the story and just walk it off.
