Phil Philips The best thing about being a writer is taking the reader on a journey, that you created. When a reader tells you they loved your book, there is no better feeling.
Phil Philips Coffee breaks are great when you have writers block. I try to continue to keep writing, even if I'm writing garbage. It gets you in the flow again and you can always go back and edit out the crap.
Phil Philips I got the idea for my recent book Mona Lisa's Secret, after watching a documentary on Vincenzo Perrugia, the man who stole the Mona Lisa in 1911. Phil Philips My advice for aspiring writers is to never give up and stay focused, organized and positive. Make sure you get a great editor, that's a must. Remember, most of the bestselling authors out there have dealt with rejection at some stage of their life, your not alone. Putting things in perspective - lets say you do happen to write a bad book. Don't worry, it's not the end of the world. No child will die because you wrote a bad book. Just learn from your mistakes and make the next book a great one.
