Amy Pond and the eleventh incarnation of Dr. Who, played by Matt Smith. I love it because they are very different and they feel attraction and repulsion at the same time, and in the middle there is a third guy, Rory, who make more fun the couple.
In literature most of my favourite novels are based on lonely characters, so I don't recall a "big couple", probably the best is Sancho and Don Quijote, a very old classic :-)

In a spin-off of my first (published) novel: 11,4 sueños luz (not yet translated to english). Its a fantasy fiction, based on the scifi world described in 11,4 sueños luz. A different mix, and not very explored way of mixing scifi and fantasy.

You need to write, read another writers (good ones), expose your work, learn from professionals (that means, attend writting courses) and publish, even if you know is not the best work you can do. You can do better in the next one, but expose yourself and put yourself outside your confort zone as writer and person.

I usually have several projects, when I'm block on one, I focus on another. Some of the projects are just text revision, other are planning and documentation, so there is always something to be productive.
