Hello - Sorry for the delay. I don't really use Goodreads anymore. But - to answer your question, the title was one of those that came out of the blue. The publisher didn't like my original title "Somewhere In Between" so they asked me for a list of alternates. "Social Intercourse" just popped into my head and they loved it. I think they liked that it sounded a little provocative. I have to say - that book was a pure joy to write so I wouldn't say there were parts that were particularly difficult to write. Thanks for your questions!

(view spoiler)[Hi. Social Intercourse caught my eye because it showed up in some online discussions and of course on GR. I noticed some people got ARCs but I can't seem to figure out how. I know it's not kosher to ask for free stuff, but is there a way some of us can get a 1-2 chapter sampler like some authors do, just so we can get a taste of the book and preorder when the time comes? Thanks. I tried reaching you on your site (hide spoiler)]

Hey there! Thanks for your interest. Sorry you couldn't reach me through my site. I need to look into that! Let me check with my publisher to see what I am allowed to do. Would you be preordering for yourself, for a store, or for a library? Thx. Greg

The easy answer is - eventually. I have written about 30% of the sequel and do plan to complete it. However, I have been tied up with editing my new YA book for Simon & Schuster as well as working on a couple of new books for them. I do plan to return to the Warfield (Trilogy?) soon, though. I'm so glad you liked it. Thanks!

Did you already order it from Amazon?

BLOOD DIVINE was my first novel, so I just started writing a ghost story that happened to me when I was a kid and the book kind of developed from there. I did create a detailed plot outline when I got about half way through and then went back and rewrote some chapters. With my subsequent books, I have found it helpful to first write a blurb, then create a basic outline, and then start filling that in with scene ideas.
