I’ve been scribbling notes in my notebooks for years, always trying to come up with the right idea to invest the time and energy into developing into a book, or series of books. Usually, I have an idea of what I want to write about, so I go for it and let the ideas flow. I sit down and go to work. The inspiration comes to my fingers as I open my mind to the Muse.

I am currently working on a stand-alone novel, working title Mill Creek, which draws from childhood experiences. I started writing it to understand my childhood. I think it is therapeutic for everyone to understand their childhood and life as it progresses. A good way to do that is to write in a daily journal, or document your experiences in any manner that works for you so that you can understand yourself, and your life.

The Fellowship of the Ancient Covenant series is a historical and a modern story. The four characters not only are present when major events in history occur [as Forest Gump], but they affect the way history unfolds, by their actions to protect mankind from evil forces. I’ve seen several superhero movies and decided we could have heroes who don’t have to leap tall buildings in a single bound but could be human and vulnerable. My heroes have the advantage of semi-immortality which allows them to develop many skills, such as languages, cultures, history, etc.
