My ideas come from all over the place. White Stone was originally inspired by the ending of Ever by Gail Carson Levine, the story I'm planning was first an answer to a prompt in my college creative writing class, and I'm never more than a single quiet moment away from thinking about ways to update and retell my favorite fairy tales.

Wide Horizons (White Stone Book 2) is about halfway through its final major revision, and I'm doing my prewriting for Book 3 (which will be this year's NaNoWriMo novel, because NaNo is my favorite time to write first drafts). I'm also working on a final proofread for "The Healer's Apprentice," a White Stone short story.
