Hi Veronica,
Sorry I missed your question until now! Yes, there will be stories coming up on Lori and Lexie, and we shall become reacquainted with a couple of characters from, "A Terrible Beauty," in both their cases - Drew for one and Edmond Bennet (of all people) for another. Now that I've launched the series, "Tales from the Arcadian," I can revisit some of my old friends. Thanks for your question, and again, I apologize for not seeing it sooner!

Hi Ada,
Actually, I'm working on Sarah's story right now and I'm hoping to have it out late spring/early summer of 2018. Thank you for asking. All The Furies are very dear to me, but Sarah holds a special place in my heart. Rafe definitely gets more trouble than he bargained for from the lady. It serves him right :)
Sincerely,
Stephanie

The first book on my must read list is "The Bone Clocks," by David Mitchell. I had it right beside my computer while I was finishing up book two in the "Season of the Furies" - my personal reward for staying focused. Of course, it's only the first in my stack. The next up is Samantha Shannon's, "The Rising Song," book three of The Bone Season series. I must have a thing with bones right now!

Hi Ada,
Thank you so much for your wonderful words about Belle and Michael's story. There were parts that made me cry too. Katherine's story is next and I must share that it is a very challenging book to write because Katherine is a very complex character and not always easy to like. I remind myself that she loves deeply, is very loyal and she always pays her debts - even when it goes against her best interests to do so. I'm hoping to have her story out by November and Sarah's story by April. Rafe's time is coming, I promise :)

Hi Frances,
Thanks so much for your question and for your patience with a stumbling writer :) One of the issues was an vastly inferior word program that would supposedly catch the virtually all mistakes, typos, etc. Well, we can see how that worked, can't we? That particular issue has been resolved, thankfully. The other solution will be to have more neutral eyes complete the final edit. I suspect most writers find the same problem. We are so used to the words being in our heads that we automatically see them correctly on the page whether they are correct or not. It's a poor excuse, I know. I've located a couple of terrific editors to catch those mistakes in the future. I'm so glad you loved the book despite those blasted typos. They are distracting. Again, thank you so much for your patience with Belle's story. Right now Katherine is having quite a time in Yorkshire and not always in a good way! I'll keep people posted on when to expect Book 2. I promise the editing will be much better.

When he comes to rescue her, she needs to make him suffer with a lot of heart ache based on what's happened to her via her diminished circumstances, I need kingswood to cry but I also need them to end up together. Hi McDeeee! Thank you so much for your kind words about ATB. I love these ladies. I'm shooting for late Fall for Book 2 - Katherine's story. I agree with you. Sarah's tale is heart-breaking. And yes, we need to see serious some major groveling from Rafe. Thanks for your interest and I'm so glad you enjoyed Belle and Michael's story. I have to say some of it was very difficult to write - lot's of tears.

With ,"A Terrible Beauty," the idea came to me after contemplating how willing, or unwilling each of us can be to forgive a hurt given to us by someone long ago. I asked myself can a teenage diva go on to become productive, kind-hearted person. The answer is, of course they can. They simply have to have the necessary time to grow up and face the challenges in life that help them mature. that's when Belle's journey began.

My characters whisper their name first and them start dropping hints of who the might be. I could be in the produce aisle, a garden or the shower and the idea will form. the devices always take longer.

I'm working on the second book in my historical romance series, "Season of the Furies."

Set aside time to write daily. Show up at your pad, or computer on time, pay attention to the details, always tell the truth from the perspective of your characters and NEVER be attached to the outcome. The characters, once fully formed, know where there are going.

The best thing about writing is that moment when words flow on their own, almost as if you're justing recording them before the muse slips away. It can last for a line, a paragraph, one page or twenty, but it's magic.

If I can't move through a block by the usuals – a walk, meditation, cheesecake – I open a dictionary to a random page and start typing the first word and definition from the top of the page and continue until I start adding words of my own into cohesive sentences. Usually the mere threat of copying dictionary pages will give me the creative sparkage I need.
