Write about what you are passionate about. Write when and wherever the creativity flows from within, but give your brain chance to forget it for a while when you have done all you can do for the day. Instead move on to another section, or something else, then come back to it with a fresh mind and perspective. Often you'll want to change it for the better or be inspired to expand upon it. If you work hard, the writing will take on its own evolvement and you'll wonder where it all came from.

The idea has been in my mind for a few decades. It is always something I have wanted to write about but it wasn't until I was in my mid fifties that I felt I had enough insight for such a big subject matter. It took that long to gather and interpret so much information, science aspects, and philosophical perspectives from around the world, and to form my personal opinion, reasoning, and conclusions. My quest was to write a logical non-religious argument for believing in God, and to describe spirituality and divine purpose as a fact-based science-friendly subject.

I like to read, or listen, to other people's points of view so that I can inject my own reasoning. When I feel I have the right answers based on all points of view, that's when I am inspired to write.

Definitely being inspired and then reading back the result of that inspiration and polishing it to perfection.

Writers block for me is not knowing the question. Work out the question in your mind and the answer will come to mind. Clarity of questions brings clarity of thought, and then clarity of answers. So to end writers block I work my brain hard on distinguishing the question first. However, this is not always as easy as it sounds because often the question is the hard part ..but this kind of shows my point.
