Cassandra Fear Too many to count. Court of Wings and Ruin is on my bookshelf, which is the one I want to read more than anything, but I'm putting it off for a little while until I have time to reread the other books in the series first. I'm continuing on with Sarah J Maas and her other series, and will continue reading through books in the fantasy genre.
Cassandra Fear This one is easy. I would write Pride and Prejudice. That is the book I've read and reread more than any other. I love every part of it, so much that I've bought all the movies and shows that have come out. It's actually a bit of an obsession, but it is one of the first books I read in English class that I fell in love with.
Cassandra Fear This is such a hard question, but I would say either my kids, my husband or my mom. My husband is the hardest working man I know. He's pretty much taken care of himself since he was seventeen and he now takes care of his family. He never has a minute to himself. My mom is the same. She worked three, four jobs sometimes just so we could make ends meet growing up and never complained. Now, she can barely walk because her back is so bad. She is my hero and another of my inspirations. And my kids...they are the brightest little part of my life. They can say something a certain way and spark ideas in my mind. These three people are definitely the biggest inspirations I have.
Cassandra Fear I like writing about real life situations young adults encounter, too. So, I would pick realistic contemporary for that reason, which is what It Starts With L is. It comes out in July. Fantasy and contemporary are really the only genres I've thought about writing.
Cassandra Fear Princess Jovi. She's from Land of Strength and Sorrow which will be released sometime soon. She is fierce, but compassionate. She is strong, but thoughtful. She loves adventure, something that scares the crud out of me. She is independent and does what needs to be done. I wrote her as someone I would want to be best friends with, but also as someone I would love to be. I have anxiety which limits me from doing so many things I want to. So, I live through my characters sometimes:)
Cassandra Fear I finished a fantasy novel called Land of Strength and Sorrow. I just signed a contract with it. It's the first in The Secrets of Orendor Series. I don't know how many books it will be, but I'm working on the second at the moment. I cannot wait for people to read this book. I made up my own world and everything in it. It was the funnest book I've ever written. Of course, I'm working on It Starts With O and Conquering the Flames as well, but I'm drowning in the fantasy series right now.
Cassandra Fear There aren't many authors I'd want to work with, but I am actually working with H.L. Roberts on a short story for a Christmas Anthology. She is someone I would write a whole series with. We just click, like bread and butter. I think you need that if you want to work on a project like writing anything together. You have to be able to criticize and inspire all in the same sentence. And we have that:)

Other than her, I would love to work with Karen Marie Moning. She is definitely one of my favorite authors. Her books...I can never put them down. I want to learn how to do that so if I could work with her on anything it would teach me a great deal I think.
Cassandra Fear Who eats all the ice cream my house. That is a huge mystery. I swear, one minute there are three tubs of it in the freezer, but every single time I go to get a bowl there is a tiny dab left in the bottom of the container...not even enough for a bow.

I guess that is what happens when you have two sneaky kiddos in the house. I also found a half eaten oatmeal cream pie in the bathroom garbage.

And I wonder why I have ants crawling through my house. Ha!
Cassandra Fear I am slowly but surely plugging away at book 2 in my Flames Trilogy. I also have some other works in progress, but I won't go into those yet. They are just some fun ideas, and I've only gotten a couple chapters mapped out for each of them. I want to put almost all of my focus into my Flames Trilogy until I finish that.
Cassandra Fear When I'm in the midst of a great book, it makes me want to write. It inspires me to write even better too so I can publish a book as good as what I like to read.
