Spencer Jakab A blank screen is a terrifying thing, but being a journalist first and an author second helps with writers block. In my day job I face constant deadlines and don't have the luxury of just staring at the screen or baking cookies or whatever. I took the same approach to book writing, breaking it down into dozens of chunks, each with their own deadlines. Sometimes the first words on the screen aren't pretty, but a partially-salvageable mess is better than nothing at all.
Spencer Jakab I've spent nearly a quarter century thinking and writing about investing, most recently for The Wall Street Journal. During that time I've been asked countless times what I think "about the market" or some specific stock. I feel like I already wrote the book in my head because my answer has been an extremely condensed version of it. "Heads I Win, Tails I Win" isn't just the best, most sincere advice I can give, though. It's delivered in a way that I think the greatest number of readers are likely to bother reading and are likely to remember.
