Sophia Newtown I once woke up in the middle of the night because I heard my mom talking to my aunt in the kitchen. When I approached the door - they said "hush, we must've woken up Sophia, let's be quiet". I pushed the door open and the kitchen was empty. Mom and aunt were both sleeping in their rooms.
Sophia Newtown I get to deliver my ideas my way. It's way harder to preach them from a pedestal with a loud-speaker, or becoming an influential person in politics or something... Also, it's way more "violent". A writer gets to deliver all his beliefs, ideas and feelings, maybe even share his past experiences or dreams, but in a non-violent, non-pushy, gentle and graceful way. And getting fans is like finding best friends across the globes - people who get your jokes, share your opinions, and care about your future. It's extremely amazing and gratifying. I am truly grateful to anybody who has ever complimented my writing.
Sophia Newtown Hi, Caleb. I am A self-published author, because I am not going to let some individual with his subjective opinion stand between me and my potential readers. Although I am considering turning to a publisher when my hard-cover version of the book will be ready. Right now a odf version of my book is available for purchase at my website.
Sophia Newtown Evelyn? It's my only FINISHED book... I first wrote it when I was at high-school, but it changed its shape quite a lot over the years - the original draft is very far from what you can see today.
Sophia Newtown I suddenly have an idea - it can come in a dream, or from a conversation, or from observing the Nature - but I suddenly "see" a piece of a scene, or a dialogue, then I contemplate that, and fantasize about expanding it into a whole plot - this is a process of inspiration. Sitting down and typing it all can come months after this "epiphany".
Sophia Newtown I am tidying up my book about Evelyn and as usual, I have many many projects started at the same time, all in different Arts fields - from crocheting to drawing and writing.
Sophia Newtown Write whatever the hell you want! What someone finds boring someone else is going to read and reread several times!
Sophia Newtown I am not only a writer, so switching to drawing or even crocheting is a great way to clear my mind. Sometimes I watch or do things that tend to inspire me - like observe the Nature, or play "The Sims 2/3/4", or watch a movie.

If I don't know how to resolve a problem my character is having - I share this with someone and when he asks "So, what happens next? Tell me now!" I suddenly realize that I know exactly what happens next. The main goal here is to write it down before I forget, but after I finish the conversation politely.
