The only real mystery in my life that I would write about is how after my recent divorce, my ex-husband and I now have similar interests. One of the major fighting points during our marriage was that we don't like the same activities. Now, for some strange reason, we have both find the same things enjoyable.

Nearly all my inspiration comes from my life and the lives of my closest friends. If a story comes from the mind and the mind is the sum of life events, then each story is a part of my life.

I do not feel that there is a true answer for this question. Many say things like 'don't give up' or 'write from the heart,' but each person is an individual with individual motivations. Despite that, the best advice I can give is to never abandon a story because it does't come across the way you want. Writing, like any art, is something that is developed over time.

The best part of writing for me are the people that read my books. Although I do not know them, I feel that they get to know me a little better. Sharing my darkest secrets and inner thoughts with the world in hopes that someone understands is the best part for me. Each story I write is a vulnerable part of my life and sharing it makes me stronger.

Writer's block is my worst enemy. Sometimes I scrap an entire idea then start another. Other times I revise everything I did and start over. Either way, writer's block stops whatever story I'm working on in favor of another.

Sacred Sins was drawn from events in my own life. Although it is completely romanticized, the overall plot was created from situations that I found myself in.
