I'm currently working on Kaja Star: Uncertain Sanctuary which is book two in the Kaja Star series. I'm on chapter 7 and have the next couple of chapters locked into my brain. Just need some time to pump them out.

Music really inspires me. I'll go on car rides, or walk the dog with my MP3's going in my ears. You know that rush you get when you see a movie trailer that gets you excited? That's how some songs effect my imagination. The music will put a story trailer in my mind and I'll think, "Oh man, I most definitely have to fit that moment in!"

I find that when I get writer's block, it has to do with some kind of plot hole I'm trying to avoid. I'll review an outline of what I have planned up ahead and figure out what absolutely has to happen, and what could potentially be changed to avoid the hole. Thinking outside the box I made for myself resolves the problem, and often results in an interesting situation that makes the story even better.
