This is a hard one. I think in the end I would have to say Narnia. While I am a huge fan of Middle Earth, i would not want to be caught up in the the fighting. If I think travel I think relaxing. And for that I would say Narnia and being able to talk to the different magical creatures.
Now that I think of it, maybe i should visit Irla and see what my creation would be like!

I have a ton I want to read, but fr this summer I am working on Sara Maas Throne of Glass Series, as well i will be taking a dive into the Witcher Series. I know it will be fall before I finish them all but read should take you more then one season :)

We have a cat named Gizmo. One of the things my wife and I started doing was giving hi ma personality. We made up a whole back story, as well as a voice that when we use it we pretend it is Gizmo talking.
One night while we were in bed he did something and my wife yelled at him. Without thinking I said in Gizmo's voice, "Those Damn Gnomes did it." Of course my wife had never heard me say that word be for. She was shocked. She then asked me why I said Gnomes. I told her Gnomes were not to be trusted. And that was the start of the book I am currently working on, working title Gnome Oligarchy.

Mostly things around me. I see or smell something and an idea pops in. I will write it down. Later while doing something (normally a walk) i will think about that very small thing and come up wit ha base for a story.
Now while I am writing it is different to say in the "zone" I listen to music that I feel sets the tone for that story.
Then of course there is the writing inspires writing.

I currently have a few projects in the works. The most pressing is book Three in the Gliserwood Series. I am also starting research for my Next Series on Gnomes, as well as discussing Co-authoring a series.

I take some time and think about the ending. Where do I want the Characters to be. Who do i want them to be. Then after some time i go back at it.
