I am a Nepali living in Gangtok, Sikkim, a hilly state in North East India. Probably our ancestors were from Nepali or perhaps they lived in Sikkim itself. Nepali speaking people are there all over the subcontinent, perhaps having migrated from Nepal at some point in the past. Our mother-tongue is Nepali, which is derived from Devnagri script, and we have our own set of cultures and traditions, a few of which I have tried to highlight in my book, The Fragile Thread of Hope. :)

Yes, I'm relatively active on FB. That's a great idea actually. I'll give it a thought, but right now I'm so busy editing my second book that I won't have time to concentrate on it fully, so I wouldn't be able to do justice to it. But yes, maybe after a few months when I'll be a bit free, that would be a good idea. There are no such pages, and once it becomes a bit popular, maybe we can catch hold of someone to sponsor it, too (for Facebook ads). But still I think by sharing and inviting friends and fans, it should be able to gather a small yet good following. What about you? Are you active on FB?

Hello Reetwika, I've already heard about your book in some groups which I'm following. Currently, I'm working on my second book so I don't think I'll get time to read yours. But I'll definitely.... 100% read your book soon, after I finish writing my book (in 3-4 months time or maybe earlier). Please don't mind. I'll read yours, review also and ask you to read mine too as a review exchange (whenever it comes out).. But I'm really sorry for now as I'm totally engrossed in mine and reading only few selected books when I find time.. Hope you don't mind :)
