I'm going to cheat a little on this question and say that I want to go to Book World from Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series because that way I can go to ALL of the books! Two of the places I would hang out the most would be Middle Earth and Star Trek.

I don't necessarily get "inspired to write" - I approach my writing time as this is when I write and that's what I do. The book was came to me as a question after watching "Star Trek: Into Darkness": what if Scotty was Captain of the Enterprise instead of Kirk? It then sort of evolved over the year into a steampunk story with the premise of the chief engineer reluctantly being thrust into the role of command.
