Just start writing. I had SO MANY outlines that I created. None of them are what Chasing the Bright Side is today. We get more clarity when we engage, rather when we're in thought. So just begin!

Book launch! Chasing the Bright Side comes out November 5th, so I'm working with my launch team to make a splash :)

I love early mornings! That's when I'm inspired the most. When writing Chasing the Bright Side, I'd wake up at 5 am, make some coffee and write for three hours. It was some of my happiest moments! (oh- and I guess my wedding too. Don't tell my husband!)

I started Headbands of Hope out of my dorm room in college. I had NO IDEA what I was doing...but I had a belief in better. That optimistic belief was what eventually grew Headbands of Hope into a million dollar company that helps hundreds of thousands of kids.
That's how I got the idea for Chasing the Bright Side. I want to show people that it's not skill or expertise that gets us where we want to go, it's optimism.
