Write. Write. Write.
When you read the same after a few days, you'd feel like banging your head against the wall and giving up. It's okay to do the former, but don't ever give up! Improvise on it. Sometimes, you'll have to erase the whole thing and write from scratch. This can get on your nerve and make you go super crazy, but remember, if you give up, you'd be denying the world what might have become one of the best piece of literature.
A good writer is a great reader. Read a lot, appreciate and admire the works of fellow writers, share their work, discuss in writer forums and ultimately, give of yourself to literature.

I learnt from an Anime series when I was young- "When you've used your brain too much, you've got to give a pause and give work to your body" (or something like that). So I usually take a walk outside by which way I give work to my body, get fresh air and also refresh my mind. Many a times this has given me new ideas as a walk outside allows you to see different people doing different activities and you never know what you get inspired by.

As of now, I'm not a full-time writer, but a soon-to-be college freshman. Since I'm going to begin a new year at college, I didn't want to begin a new book now. I have a plot ready for my next work, but it needs a lot of research. I'll spend the next couple of years perhaps, being an engineering student and silently research for my next book. However, I will be writing articles on my blog regularly.

Well, it depends on what I'm writing. Poetry I write when I feel very emotional (obviously). Usually plots spark in my mind when I go out for walks, when I'm in the shower, just before sleeping and when I'm studying for examinations! (sigh!) If I can't grab a pen and notebook or a device I can type into, I usually share the bits and pieces with a friend or imagine narrating it to someone in my head. Being a storyteller, my memory is capable of finely remembering events better than anything else. This can help you too!

'The Real Mission' stresses about the broken relationships within families and about the lack of love, respect and manners in everyday life. This is a situation prevalent in our society and hence served as the source of idea for my book. All around me, I found many know-it all teenagers who disrespected their parents and any elders for that matter and how screwed up they got. I wasn't very perfect, but seeing such people around me made me cautious about myself, because I realised how such behaviour affected on-lookers. So I decided to put it in a book, to let everyone know.

We all have so many things that we want to do in life, crazy things that are sometimes not practically possible. Then there are other events that we've lived and wish to erase or wish we had acted differently... wish we hadn't said a certain something. Being a writer let's you live and relive and live your life in a million ways. That's a superpower, if you ask me.
