I've been wanting to do a massage related book for a while but it kept getting pushed aside so when I brought Patton into the picture, he was the perfect character to take on Caleb. They were able to tame each other in different ways. My husband likes to tease me about happy endings when I go to fancy spas so I knew I had to set it in a place that was unlikely to let that kind of thing fly...but it was still a possibility. The spa Patton works at is inspired by a little place in San Mateo, Ca that I've visited with the girls a few times.(less)
