Alys Locke was born in the Midwest and moved to the Southeast early in her life. It felt like home, so she stayed! Right out of college, her first boss soon became her husband! So you can imagine how that romance story started to develop in her mind.

She has been writing for as long as she can remember. She and her sister actually created comic book stories at a very young age. Later, she became the student who wasn’t paying attention in the back of the classroom because she was either staring out the window, listening to her characters whisper their latest stories in her imagination, or scribbling tales in one of her tattered spiral notebooks.
