I'm new to using Goodreads, although I have had one book here for some time.
I just brought out a new book called busted haiku which introduces a new form of poetry. Here is a description from a reviewer:

My other book, Treachery in the Sky, is a murder mystery in space for tweenagers.

Of course Kim-Li ends up doing the investigations to solve the case. I've tried to make the science realistic, including a zero-gravity swimming pool.

I have finally started to get reviews for my Nordic Noir series here on Goodreads and on Amazon and I really hope that more people would discover the tense and actionfilled workdays of the Norwegian police, when terrorists walks over the threshold.

This series covers the Dakota Uprising of 1862 in Minnesota and how it affected people far away. The first book takes you through the decision making of the Dakota and how they came to the conclusion that to fight was their only hope.
The settlers far away, that had no involvement in the corruption that leads to the Clash of Cultures, are asked to join the US Army Cavalry to help protect settlements. But the government had other plans for the volunteers. Henson Wiseman joins and finds out about the fate of his family while he is 240 miles away from home. He begins his journey home through Lakota territory alone.
I use an allegory where four Dakota hunters encounter four white men who steal their kill, two deer, that is badly needed to feed their village. This leads to a confrontation with other settlers and the ripple effect begins.
The second book in the series, The Uprising takes you through the battles fought in Minnesota. The attack on the Redwood Agency, New Ulm, Fort Ridgely, Birch Coulee, and Wood Lake.
The Life on the Frontier has Henson reminiscing about life before he joined the army.
A few subplots are added to connect the known facts. One is a forbidden love. Another is a jealous girlfriend, others subplots follow the corrupt individuals responsible for the uprising.
The Third in Series covers: The Aftermath and the Recruitment.
The general, former trader, tries to cover his tracks, orders trials and confinement of hundreds of Dakota.
Henson recalls how he was recruited and ended up so far away from home.
